SophSoft, Incorporated depends on the efforts of a group of highly talented people to develop the projects we create and in which we participate. This page contains information about some of the people who come together to create our masterpieces, the principals and associates of SophSoft. PrincipalsGregg Seelhoff, the founder of Sophisticated Software Systems, has been programming for more than a quarter of a century, with games as his primary focus. He has shipped many significant retail games, including Legacy of the Ancients, Legend of Blacksilver, Mission Critical, Locus, ZPC: No Flesh Shall Be Spared, and Microsoft's Bicycle Card Collection. He was Senior Software Engineer at Spectrum HoloByte, and Lead Programmer for Star Trek: The Next Generation, "A Final Unity". He has also shipped several independently published games, including Pretty Good MahJongg and Action Solitaire with Goodsol Development, as well as several multimedia titles. He is currently the Technical Director at SophSoft and is responsible for programming, including critical libraries, and managing overall development efforts. Rick Tumanis, Art Director at SophSoft, has created graphics featured in game titles such as Legacy of the Ancients, Legend of Blacksilver, Mission Critical ("1995 Game of the Year" - Byte Magazine), Card Crazy 2, Slot City 2, and Bicycle Card Collection from Microsoft Plus! Game Pack: Cards and Puzzles, among several others. He created artwork and all of the official card decks for Pretty Good Solitaire and Action Solitaire, as well as interface artwork and custom tile sets for Pretty Good MahJongg. With a strong background in graphic design, he has been working in the field of personal computer graphics almost since its inception and is responsible for interface design and management of all artwork and animation development, including modeling and rendering. AssociatesSharon Stambaugh, a freelance computer game artist, has been working in the industry for several years. Her work has been seen in many retail titles, including SimFarm (Maxis), Alien Logic (SSI), National Lampoon's Chess Maniac 5 Billion and One (Spectrum HoloByte), NHL Hockey 97 (EA Sports), and Star Trek: The Next Generation, "A Final Unity" (Spectrum HoloByte), as well as on CompuServe's Worlds Away. She also produces corporate presentations for clients such as 3COM, Fair Isaac, Blue Shield, and Credit Suisse First Boston. Sharon is currently working on art design for an upcoming puzzle game, and she is also producing a top-secret action/strategy game with Digital Gamecraft for future release.
